Grantley Rushing

Grantley Rushing, Events Assistant

Grantley Rushing joined the Alumni Association in October 2018 as Events Assistant for the Inn at Ole Miss. He assists the Events staff in all necessary capacities, whether that be setting up event spaces, coordinating with caterers, operating A/V equipment, managing student workers, or cooking breakfast in McCormick Café.

Prior to starting work at the Inn at Ole Miss, Grantley taught English in the Mississippi Delta, cooked at a French restaurant in New Orleans, tended bar on the Steamboat Natchez, and wrote a book of Haiku. A native of Mississippi, he lives in Oxford with his wife Carmen Riggan and their dogs, Jax and Milo. Grantley received a B.A. from Ole Miss in 2006 with a double major in Philosophy and English.
