As general manager of the Inn at Ole Miss, Gaye is involved in every aspect of the property including reservations and booking, ongoing construction improvements, staff management, vendors and especially guest services.

A native of Oxford, Gaye clocked more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry after starting her career as a desk clerk at the Oxford Ramada Inn. She previously worked with Hyatt Hotels, including stints in Denver and Memphis. Gaye has also worked as a hospitality consultant for independent hotels and resorts throughout the country.

While in Denver she met and married her husband Jim. They moved back to Oxford with their son Spencer in 2002.

Patsy Leggett Haynie joined the Inn at Ole Miss in 2004. She has been in the hotel industry since 1991 after previously spending 14 years in banking (Peoples Bank & Trust Co., Iuka, MS) and three years in higher education banking and finance (Mississippi University for Women). Patsy’s experience in the hotel industry comes from serving as the night auditor, front desk manager and later as the assistant manager at the Holiday Inn Express and Executive Inn in Corinth.

Patsy is married to Michael D. Haynie and has two daughters, Jeannie Hodge and Susan Morgan. Jeannie attended Ole Miss and is married to Oxford native Jason Hodge. Susan is married to Billy Morgan of Weir, and they make their home in Oxford. Patsy also has a granddaughter, Savana, and a step-grandson, Jay.

Sarah Kathryn Hickman joined the Alumni Association in February 2009 as Staff Assistant. In June 2009, she was promoted to Assistant Director for Marketing. Her main duties include developing and overseeing marketing initiatives for membership, corporate partnerships, affinity partnerships and merchandising. Sarah Kathryn received a B.B.A. in Marketing in 2003 and a M.B.A. in 2005, both from Ole Miss. Originally from Pascagoula, she has resided in Oxford since completing her degrees. She is married to Gantt Hickman (BASFCS '03), and they enjoy participating in the LOU Ole Miss Club, attending Ole Miss sporting events, and spending time with family and friends.

Nadia Thornton joined the Alumni Association in September 2008 as Hotel and Conference Sales Manager for The Inn at Ole Miss. Her duties include promoting and selling the facilities and services of The Inn at Ole Miss Hotel and Conference Center. She serves as a liaison to external organizations and groups in regards to the reservation of facilities. Before joining the Alumni Association Nadia worked for Oxford Publishing as a trade show account executive and was the trade show director for PMQ Magazine.

Nadia received a B.B.A. in International Business with two minors in Spanish and Marketing from Ole Miss in 2003. She is a native of Oxford and is married to Kevin Thornton, who is originally from Jackson, MS. They enjoy spending time with family and friends and their dog, Eddy.
